Georgia Halkett

A/Prof Georgia Halkett (PhD, FIR, BMedRad(Hons) Radiation Therapist, GAICD) is a Senior Research Fellow at Curtin University. Georgia currently holds a Cancer Council of WA Research Fellowship. She previously worked as a radiation therapist. Associate Professor Halkett has been successful in attracting NHMRC, NBCF, Cancer Australia, EORTC and Cancer Council Funding. She has published widely and is currently supervising 4 PhD students. Georgia’s program of research focuses on cancer patient’s psychosocial and information needs, communication between health professionals and cancer patients and research in radiation therapy.
