    Fourth Solaris Cancer Care Support Centre opens in the Great Southern, Albany.

    Third Solaris Cancer Care Support Centre opens in the South West, Bunbury.

    Second Solaris Cancer Care Support Centre opens at St John Of God Subiaco Hospital.

    Solaris Cancer Care Celebrates its 5 year anniversary. Launch of SolarisCare Foundation from SCGH.

    Advisory Board for Centre established.

  • 2002

    Centre’s Research Program established and Committee appointed.

    Justin Langer becomes Patron for Solaris Cancer Care.

    First Centre opens to the public at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital, providing support to cancer patients and their carers ‘Peter & Brownes Cancer Support Centre’. Immediately have over 100 visitors per week.

    Dr David Joske researches the role of Complementary Integrated Therapies in patient care; evidence propels him to develop the idea of a support centre.
