Energy based therapies
Many patients use energy therapies as they are very gentle and non-invasive, they work on a similar concept to acupuncture in terms of unblocking energy and improving its flow throughout the body to restore balance. Anecdotal evidence from patients is that energy therapies provide a deep sense of warmth, calm and relaxation, and often helps to relieve pain, reduce stiffness and aid neuropathy.

Energy based therapies offered
Healing Touch is a relaxing, nurturing energy therapy. It uses a collection of energy- based techniques to assess and treat the human energy system.
Gentle touch assists in balancing the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual well-being.
Some evidence suggests that it may also help reduce anxiety, decrease pain and aid in recovery after surgery. It is safe for all ages and works in harmony with mainstream medical care.
Pranic healing, or pranic energy healing, originated from China and Tibet. It is an ancient system of healing which utilises “vital life force” or chi to enhance and strengthen the bodies natural ability to heal. It is similar to acupuncture without the needles. Sometimes also referred to as Chinese medical qigong, which involves treatment by a therapist who directs chi force (prana) to the electromagnetic field that surrounds and interpenetrates the body. There is no need for physical touch as the therapist works with the energy fields and the chakra system.
This technique integrates ancient energy concepts into a contemporary form of healing now being accepted into many western cultures. Some evidence and anecdotal feedback from clients suggest that Pranic Healing can be beneficial for many systems of the body and aid in reducing pain, fatigue, nausea, insomnia and promotes sense of relaxation and alleviates stress.
