Our team

Cancer is the biggest challenge many people will ever face. If you or a family member has cancer, you will need a professional yet empathetic team to help, support and inspire you on your journey. Solaris Cancer Care’s dedicated team are here to help in every way we can.

Our team help to co-ordinate support groups, provide counselling for those in need, develop and deliver inspiring wellness programs, write and design our campaigns and publications, produce our resources, manage our office and fundraising campaigns, look after our cancer patients and answer the phones.

Some of our team have, themselves, experienced cancer either as individuals or carers and understand what it takes to undertake the cancer journey. We are fortunate to have these dedicated team of professionals who are dedicated to making a difference to the lives of families in WA with cancer.

We are also supported by the most incredible volunteer team of 350 caring and generous individuals.  All of our volunteers offer Solaris Cancer Care their time to support a whole range of activities from writing grant applications, to managing our op shop, to fundraising, to digital communications, to developing appeals, to hands-on service provision including counselling, support groups, to treatments like massage and movement sessions. We are very grateful for their time and energy.
