Each year, Women in Mining and Resources WA (WIMWA) choose several charities to support through their fundraising and networking events and incredibly well-known annual summit.
This year, Solaris Cancer Care is one of WIMWA’s chosen charities for 2018.
2018 marks the 10th Anniversary of the Summit which began in 2009 as a one-day-seminar and has grown to truly be a world-class event with more than 1000 mining and resources delegates from Gold Fields, Northern Star, Rio Tinto, BHP, Newmont and many, many more.
Hosted by Annabel Crabb and Leigh Sales, audience members are always left inspired after the duo engage in storytelling about their respective career and discuss leadership, community and life.
WIMWA’s support will help to ensure Solaris Cancer Care can continue to provide more than 25,000 treatments to patients and their carers across Western Australia each year.
The Summit is scheduled for Friday, 14 September 2018 in the beautiful Crown Towers Ballroom,
