Dear valued supporter,
Thank you so much for contributing to our ability to offer support and wellness opportunities to people impacted by cancer.

[/vc_column_text][vc_separator type=”small” position=”left” gradient_color=”yes” thickness=”5″ up=”25″ down=”50″ width=”50″][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1586413505603{padding-bottom: 15px !important;}”]In 2017, Solaris Cancer Care merged with Cancer Support WA to create an incredibly strong and focused organisation – built on the shared philosophy focused on supporting individuals, their families and carers, on their cancer journey. In bringing two cancer charities together, I am very pleased to be providing continuity of care and a more comprehensive ability to support people with cancer and their loved ones. The merge means we are stronger together, and better able to direct resources to the people who need them most.

Solaris Cancer Care is a helping hand to all cancer patients and their carers, bringing together the best in modern medicine with evidence-based support services to help cope with the emotional and physical side effects of diagnosis, treatment, recovery and palliative care.

With over 12,000 people diagnosed in Western Australia, Solaris Cancer Care provides more than $1 million worth of health care in complementary therapies, primarily free to cancer patients and their carers. Solaris Cancer Care operates across regional and metropolitan areas with five centres, located in Albany, Bunbury, Cottesloe, Subiaco and Nedlands.

Three out of our five centres are attached to both metropolitan and regional hospitals, including Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital, St John of God Subiaco and Albany Health Campus. This allows Solaris Cancer Care to work closely with patients’ nursing staff and doctors.

Many of our clients tell us that the tranquil centres, supportive care, complementary therapies and wellness education we offer, gives them hope in a very difficult time. Now that we are able to walk alongside people from their time of diagnosis right through every phase of their experience, we are also able to provide more education, empowerment and activities within a kind community of people who understand.

With your assistance, we can continue to provide and enhance cancer care, including:[/vc_column_text][icon_list_item icon=”fa-leaf” icon_type=”transparent” title_font_weight=”300″ icon_size=”13″ icon_color=”#0092bc” title=”Complementary therapies in hospitals and the community” title_color=”#003b5c” margin_bottom=”0″][icon_list_item icon=”fa-leaf” icon_type=”transparent” title_font_weight=”300″ icon_size=”13″ icon_color=”#0092bc” title=”Professional counselling for as long as required” title_color=”#003b5c” margin_bottom=”0″][icon_list_item icon=”fa-leaf” icon_type=”transparent” title_font_weight=”300″ icon_size=”13″ icon_color=”#0092bc” title=”Exercise, yoga, pilates, movement and meditation classes” title_color=”#003b5c” margin_bottom=”0″][icon_list_item icon=”fa-leaf” icon_type=”transparent” title_font_weight=”300″ icon_size=”13″ icon_color=”#0092bc” title=”Support groups” title_color=”#003b5c” margin_bottom=”0″][icon_list_item icon=”fa-leaf” icon_type=”transparent” title_font_weight=”300″ icon_size=”13″ icon_color=”#0092bc” title=”Educational courses, workshops and guest speakers” title_color=”#003b5c” margin_bottom=”0″][icon_list_item icon=”fa-leaf” icon_type=”transparent” title_font_weight=”300″ icon_size=”13″ icon_color=”#0092bc” title=”Healthy lifestyle activities” title_color=”#003b5c” margin_bottom=”0″][icon_list_item icon=”fa-leaf” icon_type=”transparent” title_font_weight=”300″ icon_size=”13″ icon_color=”#0092bc” title=”Creative therapies” title_color=”#003b5c” margin_bottom=”0″][vc_column_text]We are committed to providing supportive care for you, your loved ones, and every person in the community impacted by cancer.
