Professor Anne Williams is a nurse researcher with nearly 30 years’ experience researching healthcare issues within Western Australia (WA). Anne is the Professor of Health Research and Graduate Research Director in the Discipline of Nursing, College of Science, Health, Engineering and Education, at Murdoch University. Anne maintain links with the acute care hospital setting currently consulting to the Centre for Nursing Research Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital and Solaris Cancer Care. Anne has an extensive research portfolio in the area of nursing in the acute care hospital setting. Her main interests are patient experience (especially in relation to chronic health conditions), nursing staff wellbeing, psychosocial care, pain management, end-of-life-care, and evidence translation.
