Bereavement - Living with Loss

A 5-Week Program for Family Members Who Have Lost a Loved One to Cancer
Are You Grieving the Loss of Someone Close to You?
When we lose the pain can feel overwhelming. This 5-week program provides a compassionate, safe space to express and process your grief in a supportive, professionally facilitated group setting with others who have also experienced the profound pain of loss.
What You Can Expect:
- A Safe, Supportive Environment: Join others who understand what you’re going through. Share your story and be heard, without judgment.
- Understanding Grief: Grief doesn’t simply disappear. We believe it stays with you, and over time, you learn to live around it. Our sessions will help you better understand this complex process.
- The Impact of Grief: Explore how grief affects all domains of life—physical, emotional, social, cognitive, spiritual, and behavioural—and how to navigate these challenges.
- Identifying and Managing Emotions: Learn how to identify, understand, and manage the powerful emotions that accompany grief.
- Coping and Adjusting: Discover practical coping strategies to adjust to life after loss and ways to begin rebuilding your life, step by step.
- Honouring Your Loved Ones: Share ideas and discuss meaningful ways to honour and remember the person you’ve lost, keeping their memory alive as part of your journey forward.
Who Should Attend?
This program is for anyone who has lost a loved one to cancer and is seeking a safe, supportive space to work through their grief. Whether your loss is recent, or some time has passed, you are welcome.
Grief is a deeply personal journey, but you don’t have to go through it alone. Join us for this healing program and connect with others who understand.
